To son, Walter, the reversion of the lease on the land on Lower Mescoed Common, held of the Marquess of Abergavenny, after the death of wife.
To wife, Judith, all the rest and residue of the estate to dispose of as she wishes.
Executrix: wife, Judith
Marked by testator

Date of Probate:
2. Inventory: Dated
Observations:
Documents include a separate coversheet and one other; 4 sheets in all. The extra sheet is a legal document in Latin that has been crossed through and all signatures deleted. It has no relation to this will or the testator. Probably a clerk wrote the man's short inventory on the back of this piece of scrap because it was a pauper's inventory and a clean sheet would have cost money.
