Image of newspaper cutting dated 20 December 1834 advertising the sale by auction of standing maiden Oak, Ash and Fir trees, to be held in the Sun Inn, Michaelchurch and sold in 15 lots.
107 Ash on the Bank estate; 440 Ash on the Firs estate; 240 Ash in Ashen Coppice on the same estate; 95 Ash on the Wilderness estate; 160 Ash on Goodes farm Clodock; 89 Ash and 93 Oak on the Trenant estate Peterchurch; 27 Scotch Fir trees on the Firs estate; all of Ashen Coppice wood on the Bank estate, being about 25 years growth. Viewing by contact with Mr Dew at Michaelchurch Court or at Trenant with Mr Maddox tenant at Trenant Farm.
