Manors of Wilbroke alias Wirkbroke. To wit. At the court of ou sovereign lord the king And als the court baron of Thomas Delahay esquire Lord of the said manor held at the Crossway in Peterchurch at the dwelling house of John Boswell within the aforesaid manor on Tuesday the third day of December in the fourth year of the reign of our sovereign lord William the fourth b the grace of God of the Uited Kingdom of Geat Britain and Ireland king defender of the faith and in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three before Francis Lewis Bodenham gentleman steward.

We the jurors sworn and impannelled to enquire for our sovereign lord the king and the lord of the said manor do present as followeth.
We present that Edward Preece has since the last court erected a cottage and enclosed a garden from the lord’s waste at a place called The College for which he pays to the lord of the said manor the yearly sum of two shillings and six pence and which we present ougt to be paid by him annually until the said encroachment is abated.
We have nothing further to present within our knowledge.
