Photograph of letter of application dated 21st September 1910 for the post of footman at Michaelchurch Court, written by Arthur Haines aged 17 to RH [sic] Trafford, Esq. The letter appears to be annotated ‘to come on trial’, but the outcome is uncertain as Henry Trafford died some 3 weeks later.
