Description:
Bundle of deeds relating to house called The New House and lands in Michaelchurch. The lands which later formed the New House Farm were obtained in two separate purchases by John Smith of Peterchurch, from Gwellyan Watkins widow, in 1616 and from John Williams in 1619. The property remained in the Smith family until it passed to Job Gilert of Crasswall [Craswall] in 1744. It later came by marriage to William Williams of Clodock who sold it in 1828 to Richard Yeomans.
