Draft of lease 1 February 1728

(1) Edmund Thomas of Michaelchurch Eskly, gent. son and heir of Humphy [Humphry] Thomas formerly of the same who was the heir and immediate descendant of Michael Thomas formerly of Michaelchurch and Elizabeth his wife.

(2) William Pytts of Howton, gent. only son and heir and executor of William Pytts of the same.

Reciting that Michael Thomas and his wife and Edmond Thomas leased to John Parry of Michaelchurch, gent, all those twelve acres of arable lands, etc. in Michaelchurch on which there was formerly a messuage or site of a messuage (55 acres) at a rent of £5 which rent had been paid by William Pytts who had acquired an assignment from Parry.

Now: confirmation of assignment and lease for William Pytts.
