Thomas Powell of Hardwicke, par Clifford, co Hereford, esq., appoints Nathaniel Cobb of par Michaelchurch Escley, co Hereford, farmer, his attorney, to appear for him at courts baron of Ewyas Lacy manor and to take admittance of all those pieces of arable, meadow and pasture called the Old Mill Ground, with all buildings and appurtenances, par. Michaelchurch Escley, co Hereford, to the use of Thomas Powell aforesaid.
For the lives of William Harris Jones of par. Michaelchurch Escley, yeoman, aged 24 years, Septimus Harris Jones of the same place, yeoman, aged 16 years and Thomas Harris Jones of the same place, aged 9.
Rent (unspecified) and suit of court, etc.

Observations:

A property called Old Mill appears on the Michaelchurch Escley Tithe Map 1844, field no 249, lying south east of Little Cefn.
