1. Will: dated 7 March 1641
Beneficiaries:
To Mother, Margaret Bevan, one half of all his lands and tenements in Michaelchurch Escley for her lifetime.
To sister, Juhan Bevan, the other half together with his mother's half on her death.
Together with a proviso: 'If it please god to visit Mauld Bevan my sister wth anie sickness that they shall relieve her during the time of sickness.'
Finally he acknowledges debts to Thomas William Powell of Michaelchurch Escley of 11/- and 5/- to Harry Watkins, 'vitler' and appoints his mother to settle the debts.

Executrix: sister, Juhan Bevan.

Witnesses: David price, Thomas William Powell, Mauld Powell, Harry Watkins, vitler, and William Miles Clc[clerk].

The documents include a bond dated 4 June 1645 with bounden Phillipp Harry of Grosmont, county Monmouth , yeoman and Meredith William of Brecon town in a surety of £100
