1.  Will: dated 15 May 1650
Beneficiaries:
To sister in law, Johan Jenkins, the house in which he dwells together with the land and the remainder of  his lease for the payment of his debts. Also all the furniture in the house for the settling of his funeral expenses.
To wife, Alce [
Alice ?] the residue  of his household stuff.    

Executrix: sister in law, Johan Jenkins.

Marked by testator.

Witnesses: William Miles Cle[rk], Thomas Watkins, David Price of Michaell [following word indecipherable], William Price and Arnold Price.

2. Inventory: dated 12 June 1650; comes to £9  11  0d. Appraisers: Eyton Bevan, Thomas Watkins, John William Prichard.

 

 

Observations:

The documents include a bond dated 27 June 1650 with bounden Johan Jenkins of Michaelchurch Escley, widow and William Prichard of the same in a surety of £200.

The inventory values are a mixture of mainly Arabic numerals but also some Roman
