Beneficiaries: To my good friends, Morgan Morgan of Walterstone, clerk, Hugh Bevan of the Priory Wood, gent and James Williams of the Pentry, Bredwardine, gent, 'all my money, securities, goods, chattels and personal estate in trust to call in, place out and invest all monies owing to me at the time of my death and to apply the yearly interest of the sum of £2100 to my two daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah and their issue'. If the daughters die without issue then to pay the said interest to niece Elizabeth Perkins and her issue or for want of such issue to 'my nearest kindred'.
To apply the sum of £500 to brother, Herbert by an annuity of £20 for life. On his death the capital is to be put to the same uses as the £2100.mentioned above.
His household goods are to be sold to pay debts and expenses and any surplus to be divided between the poor of Llanveynoe and Michaelchurch Eskley.
Two pieces of leashold land held from the Earl of Abergavenny, called the Cae Maurs in Clodock to pass to his daughters, Elizabeth and Sarah, as tenants in common.
