Description:
Poster advertising the sale of effects including implements of husbandry, crops and household furniture. To be sold by auction by T Dyson Smith on Tuesday the 26th of August 1845 on the premises at Twynygwint, Michaelchurch Esckley, under distress for rent, the property of Mr William Williams.
Effects comprised two cart horses, one narrow-wheeled cart, car, two suits of gears, pikes, rakes, crop of growing wheat about two and a half acres, seven acres of oats, potatoes, quantity of well-ended hay, crop of growing grass, a quantity of excellent aftermath and other herbage. Also the whole of the household furniture, beds, bedding and numerous other articles.
Observations:
At the time of the Tithe Map in 1844, the owner of Tyn y Gwynt is given as Ann and Merlin Prosser.
