To grandchild Elizabeth Clerk, one black heifer.
For the payment of funeral expenses, 3 kine. Any surplus to be used for payment of debts.
To daughter, Johan Clerk, all household stuff and utensils in her dwelling. Johan is to divide these between the grandchildren Thomas and Elizabeth, 

Executor:   Thomas Clerk.

Signed by the testator.

Witnesses: Johan Rees, Mary Carter and John Thomas.

Observations:

The will is unusual in showing the signatures of three women, the testatrix and the two witnesses. All three signatures are written in an assured, individual hand indicating that they were used to writing and clearly literate.
Her documents include a bond dated
6 August 1635 with bounden Thomas Clark of Michaelchurch Escley, yeoman and James Clark of the same place, yeoman in a surety of £100. Thomas Clark's signature also shows a familiarity with writing.

Her inventory is reproduced below with modern spelling.
