The testatrix's sisters, Jane and Catherine are to have 'housrome' in the dwelling for their lifetimes, 'being granted ingress and regress'
To sister Jane, one cow. [There is a half line deleted in the document which can be read :'a cow for sister Catherine' ??? this could mean that Catherine had died after the will was written and before Johan died or perhaps she had second thoughts and decided that one cow was sufficient for the two sisters living together].
To Johan, daughter of Simon Parry, the feather bed, bolster and pillow, coverlet and sheets 'I lye upon', best brass pan which the two sisters are to have to use in the house during their lives there.
To Simon Parry and his wife,
Elizabeth , 2 kine and all the term of years left in the copy hold lands she uses.

Executrix: great niece Johan, daughter of Simon Parry.

Marked by the testator

Witnesses: John James, Thomas David, James Probert and James Probert jnr.

Date of probate:
12 January 1641 .

2. Inventory: dated
31 December 1641 ; value £22. Appraisers: John Powell, gent, David Probert, Thomas Lewis and James Probert. .

Observations:

The documents include a bond dated as probate with bounden Johan Parry of Llanvihangel [Michaelchurch] Escley and John Thomas of the same, yeoman in a surety of £100.
It seems likely that the bond of Symont Parry [mfs_mic_0329] relates to the Simon Parry referred to in this will.
Her inventory is reproduced below with modern spelling.
