Description:
In 1798 at a court held for the manor of Ewyas Lacy, Thomas Pearce was admitted to 51 acres of copyhold land. This he added to Quarelly Farm which then consisted of part copyhold and part freehold land. In 1827 Pearce conveyed the farm to Elizabeth Pearce, who by her will of 1850 bequeathed the property to Daniel Pearce. After adding a small peice of land to the farm Daniel sold it in 1868 to David Watkins and the property was finally sold in 1906 to James Straker of Abergavenny. 9 items
