Newton , par. Clodock. "NB there has been a cottage formerly which was pulled down and the materials taken to make additional Buildings on other leasehold lands by the late John Lewis many years ago."

A lease of the premises  was made to Edmond Lewis for the lives of Sarah his wife, aged 32, Sarah her daughter by her first husband, aged 11 years and Ann Lewis daughter of Edmond Lewis, aged 3
