Consideration: marriage between John Lewis and Margery, one of the daughters of Tho Prosser and £100 marriage portion.
Messuage or tenement with appurtenances in Clodock where Phillip Lewis now dwells: close of arable (4a) between the sd tenement and the common called Mescoed . 2 parcels pasture( 6a) next to the lane from Mescoed house of Sarah and Thomas George. Two meadows( 8a) adjoining a brook running from Mescoed to Dulas brook: one parcel arable called Cae Maure (10a) lying between the above 2 meadows and the Dulas : 2a meadow between Cae Maure and the Dulas brook: 2 closes arable(16a) between Cae Maure , the Dulas brook and the land of Sarah George: 1 parcel arable(3a) lying on the lane from Mescoed to house of Sarah and Thomas George
To hold to 3. to use of Lewis and wife for lives for jointure of Margery and their heirs to hold of the Chief Lord in fee by usual rents and services. Lewis has right to charge half the estate with sums not exceeding £80 for use of younger children.
Lewis to repay £50, being half the marriage portion to Prosser in the event of Margery's dying without issue within 5 years of marriage.
