1. Will dated 20 April 1717
Beneficiaries: To his eldest son, Samuel, the best wain, with the six 'standers in my hous being three bedsteads and three table boards and benches thereto'
To wife,
Alice , 'for and towards the paying my debts and defraying my funeral expense', all the rest of his goods, chattels, credits, and implements.
'the one hundred pounds mentioned in a certain deed of partition bearing date 30 January 1702 and charged on my lands, unto my eldest son Samuel shall be payd unto my younger children…without any deduction for the payment of my debts'
