Beneficiaries: To brother, Phillip Roberts, all his messuage, tenement and farm called The Green lying in Newton and the parish of St Margarets and currently tenanted by James Farr [see BR/1855/73], subject to the payment of £40 to nephew William Roberts and £5 p.a. to the testator's sister Martha Watkins, widow, of Longtown.
To Martha, daughter of William Watkins of the Blackhill, Craswall, all his household goods and furniture for her sole use..
Residual legatee nephew, William Watkins of the Blackhill.

Observations

An unremarkable will, save that the two witnesses John Gwillim and Thomas Griffiths spell the Mills where they live differently, Griffiths inserts an 'i'. Documents include 2 coversheets; 4 sheets in all.
