Beneficiaries: To his wife, Mary Jones, his freehold estate called Merdy, together with all his goods, chattels , furniture, dairy and brewing utensils, stock, crops, implements and money.
Also he gives his wife, 'power of making a will… to dispose of my freehold property'

Executors: his wife Mary Jones and brother in law, James Farr of Tycraddock in Michaelchurch Escley.

Signed by the testator

Witnesses: John Gwillim of The Wayne, John Farr, servant and Mary Gwillim junior of the shop

Date of Probate: 3 August 1843.

2. Inventory: none but an accompanying affidavit states, ' that the whole of his said goods chattels and credits did not at the time of his decease amount in value to the sum of £220 0 0d'

 

 

Observations

The documents include a 2 page commission from the Court at Brecon to the vicar of Clodock and an affidavit; 4 sheets in all.
