To Elizabeth Symonts, one bolster, one coffer and a pair of h[missing but probably hurden] sheets and 2 sacks
To sister, Juan Watkins, one cow, one feather bed and one chaff bed.
To Elizabeth Watkins, one petticoat.
To Margaret Mile, one farigard [?] [farthingale perhaps?]
To Bridget Morgan, 'my ould petticott'.
To Maud Harry, one flannel waistcoat.
To James Morgan, all the rest of her unbequeathed goods.

2. Inventory: undated; valued at £6  8  10d [but comes to £6  9  10d].  Appraisers: William Jones, Phe Gwillim, and Jasper Powell, clerk.

 

 

Observations:

The will is untidily written with many errors and a number of interlinings which are just impossible to decipher but these concern general instructions and do not detract from the reading of the bequests.
There is a bond dated
24 June 1628 with bounden James Morgan of Clodock, yeoman and Hugh Jevans of Brecon town, yeoman in a surety of £40.
