1. Will dated 23 July 1840
Beneficiaries: To James Hoddell of Tykennol, gent. and John Gwillim the elder of Sunnybank all the freehold estate to hold upon trust together with all household goods and furniture to be sold, except 'what they may deem necessary to retain for the use of my beloved wife and child'. All moneys raised by the sales to be held by the trustees and part applied to the maintenance of the wife and child.

Executors: James Hoddell and John Gwilim.
