1. Will dated [hole] June 1703:
Beneficiaries: To Helena, wife, his two houses at Llangua and Llyngoows to be sold to pay his debts plus all his personal effects and chattels again to be sold to pay the remainder of his debts. Anything remaining after clearance of the debts to be equally divided between [?wife, right hand edge of parchment torn and word missing] and three children, Rowland, Johan and Helena

2. Inventory: [2 pages] Dated 10 November 1705, value £41 1 6d. Appraisers Thomas Jenkins and James Morgan.

 

 

Observations:

This is a particularly interesting Inventory as we have two houses apparently inventoried with silver plate and 'glasses' [that is mirrors, twice] mentioned in the first house and 9 pictures in the second indicating a greater than usual level of sophistication and culture. Includes a separate admon sheet in Latin; 3 sheets in all.
