Beneficiaries: To sisters, Anne Wisame & Eleanour Pearse '..all my household goods ...excepting the vesslls, one wainscoate chest one wainscoate bed tester and one large table' to be equally divided between them

To Robert Wisame, son of Anne Wisame, £5.
All the remainder of the estate to John Wisame also a son of Anne.

Executor: John Wisame.

Witnesses: Phillip Pue, Matthew Lewis & William Williams

Date of Probate: 19 10ber [lawyers' shorthand for December decem being latin for 10 and thus the tenth month of the year commencing 25 March] 1741

Inventory: [plus copy] dated
15 November 1741 , value £3 10 0d.   Appraisers Samuel Smith & John Wall. [although both appear to have appended a signature the writing of both is so similar that it looks as though the names of the appraisers has been appended by a third party]

 

 

Observations:

The Inventory does not match the bequests. Have the table and chest been removed from the house before the assessors arrived?
Documents Include a separate cover sheet  - 4 pages in all.
