Instructions that £5 be spent on his funeral expenses; the £5 to be obtained from money due from Mr Moore Saunders who owes him £3 and Edward Roberts who owes £2. Both creditors come from Llangua

Executor: son in law, Mr William Parry of Kingstreet, Ewyas Harold.

Witnesses: John Pugh [who, as he has signed his name, probably wrote the will] and Margaret Trehern.

Date of Probate: 1 March [no year]

 

 

Observations:

No Inventory. There are no accompanying documents with this will and there is no contemporary indication of the year. The date for this entry has been taken from the NLW's reference but it is unclear where1699 was obtained. A single sheet.
