1. Will [3 pages] dated 5 August 1733
Beneficiaries: To nephew, Walter Price, son of brother Timothy Price £60 when he is 21, in the meantime the interest on the £60 to be put towards his schooling and education.
If Walter dies before he reaches 21 then brother Timothy to have the £60 for his lifetime , thereafter it is to be divided between the following relations;
To niece, Mary Wall, £20.
To John Price and Velant Price sons of Thomas Price, to Jane Morgan, wife of James Morgan, glover of Clodock 10 gns each
To Mary Larine of Grismont [?Grosmont], Phoebe Cox of 'Skenfreth', Mary Williams of Clodock and Jane Prichard of Comyoy, cousins, £5 each.
To Mary Morgan of Benbidile in the parish of Lanvihangell and to John Adorn of Comyoy, carpenter, £5 each.
To Mary Prichard, niece of Comyoy and Thomas Prichard of Grismont, £1 each.
Executor is to pay Mary Wall, niece, £1 per year over the next five years following testator's decease.
To Timothy, brother, £5.
To Ann Prichard, neighbour, 10/-.

Executor and trustees: Timothy, brother with William Gwillim and Thomas Howe as trustees

Witnesses: Thomas Watkins, Thomas Gwillim junr & Godfrey Powell.

Observations :

The bequests in this will are a muddle as it seems to mix direct bequest with bequests related to the money that might become due after his brother's death should the nephew die before reaching 21. Also confusing is the fact that the original and copy inventories show a variation in the names of the appraisers; the original seems to have been signed as shown above but the copy names the appraisers as Thomas Gwillim and Thomas Price Includes a separate coversheet; 6 pages in all.
