1 acres of land, part of the Upper Mescoed (boundaries given) in possession of (2).

(2) not to erect any cottage or alienate the land without permission.

For lives of Mary Jennigs, wife of (2) and Thomas and Mary their son and daughter.

Witnesses: Robert Harries and Edward Waters.

Endorsed:

a) ‘Mary the wife of the lessee is dead’. (21 June 1718).

b) 1/- to be paid as a heriot for entry to the above premises.
