To wife Margery Parry, his dwelling house together with all household stuff to do with as she pleases. In addition all corn now growing upon the common as well all his eleven head of cattle , the pig, the gander and 2 geese and all the corn both threshed and unthreshed, the hay and the fodder.

Probate date: 26 March 1650/51 [this is how the date is shown on the coversheet, but the Commissioner Powell, on the probate endorsement has dated it 26 March 1650, an error surely as the 26th would be the first day of the new year 1651].

17 March 1650 ; value £24  4  8d. Appraisers: William Thomas Powell, William Morgan and Thomas Jenkyns.

 

 

Observations:

The documents include a bond dated 26 March 1650 with bounden Margery of St Margarets, widow and John Powell of Michaelchurch Escley, gent in a surety of £200.
