Beneficiaries: To John Price, son of his nephew Evan Price, the messuage with its garden and lands called Gilvach in St Margarets and currently in the occupation of James Griffits. Also to John Price, the barn and 5 parcels of land in
Newton called Caye Prisk
To nephew Reese Price, son of William Price and the testator's 'owne naturall sister Joan', the message and lands etc. called 'Fermbreed' in St Margarets.

Executors: Thomas Harper, gent.

Witnesses: Morgan Thomas, James Harper and Thomas Williams.

Date of Probate: 6 July1714.

4 May 1714 , value £28 8 6d. Appraisers David Powell, Samuell Prosser and Thomas Williams.

 

 

Observations:

Documents includes 2 coversheets; 6 sheets in all. This will is different in that the testator only disposes of his properties Gilvach, Caye Prisk and Fernbreed but makes no provision for the disposal of the domestic contents of his house or his livestock. The inventory gives a room by room list of household contents and the original also provide details of his debts.
