Description:

1. Will: dated 1 November 1745
Beneficiaries: To son Samuel, the rights and title to a leasehold estate held from John Jeffreys Esq, known by the name Corner lands, subject to the payment of £4 per year to wife, Joan, to be paid quarterly for her lifetime. If Samuel dies before the completion of the lease's term then it should pass to son, George Waters subject to the same provision.
Similarly to Son George, the rights etc to 2 dwelling houses and lands from Lord Abergavenny subject also to the payment of a £4 annuity to wife Joan
To granddaughter, Katherine Waters, a bedstead and bed from the little chamber, a chest, 2 large pewter dishes, a kettle, a dripping pan, a press, a long table, another bedstead, 'all of which goods are to be kept in my dwelling house until she attains the age of fourteen years'.
To niece, Jane Marsh, 40/-.
Residual legatees, sons, Samuel and George all to be divided equally between them.

2. Codicil dated
1 November 1745
This is really an afterthought and additional clause to his will dated the same day and witnessed by the same persons, to provide £5 for the funeral expenses of his wife. And in addition giving her the right to the household stuff she had brought to their marriage.

Date of Probate: 25 May 1792.
