1. Will: dated tw[blot]th July 1829
Beneficiaries: all debts funeral and testamentary expenses to be paid by executor 'out of my cottage or the money arising from the sale of my tools'.
To wife Eleanor all household goods except his working tools which are to be sold.
To son, John of Llanethley, his cottage in trust to be sold either privately or at auction within a year of his death and the money disposed of as follows:
the mortgage to be paid off including any interest due.
all debts to be settled
To daughter Mary Badham, 1/-
The surplus to be equally divided between his wife and his other 4 children, sons, John, William, and Mordecay Williams and daughter Anne Powell.

2. Inventory: none but coversheet endorsed 'under £5'.
Observations:
Documents include a separate registration instruction and a coversheet; 3 sheets in all. The inventory value of under £5 must surely reflect only what was left after the tools had been disposed of and the household stuff removed by the widow.
