Michaelmas 1743
Mannors of Urishay alias Hay-Urry, Trelleshope alias Trenant & Clothy Hopkin.
At the court of our sovereign lord the king, or view of frankpledge and court baron of John Delahay esq. lord of the said mannors kept at the dwelling house of Thomas Jones scituate in the parish of Michael Church Eskley the 18th day of October in the seventeenth year of the reign of our sovereign lord George the second now king of Great Britain and so forth and in the year of our lord God 1743. Before John Weare gent steward.

Imprimis We the jurors aforesaid sworn and impanelled to enquire on behalf of our sovereign lord the king & the lord of the said mannors do upon our several oaths present as followeth.
Item That John Price gent one of the tenants in the mannor of Clothey Hopkin & who owes suit & service to this court died since the last court, possessed of a messuage & lands within the said mannor & that a heriot of his second best beast accrued to the lord thereby which we find to be paid to the lord since his death & before the holding of this court.
Item That Timothy Price son of Thomas John & one of the tenants of the same mannor died likewise possessed of a mess. & tenement within the same mannor since the last court & that a heriot of the second best beast accrued to the lord by his death which we likewise find is paid to the lord.
Item We [------------] [?k toit] of the mannor [----------------] [ as] Pritchard, Richard Hanley for several incroachments by them [-- ] made upon the Urishay common & [?---- ] [------ ] & each of them under a pai of xxxx each [?if] [---- ] [----- ] the same by the [-- ]th day of December next, & that Benjamin Pritchard & John Jones certify at next court under the like pain.
Item We present Samuel Harris, Phillip Williams, Daniel Smith, George Ball, Peter Watkins & James Jones, tenants that owe suit & service to those courts, for not appearing to do suit & do amerce them in the sum of two shillings each for default of court.
