Land tenure shown is transcribed from a survey of the Estate conducted about 1835, which contains at this time a significant part, but by no means all, of the land being farmed in Michaelchurch. Land and property in Craswall, Newton and Peterchurch, as well as various woods, mountain land and commons, are included in the Estate survey but not reported below.
