A personal copy of the Golden Valley Railway Act [Royal Assent 13th July 1876] inscribed to Mr. CE Trafford.

 

Charles Guy Trafford of Michaelchurch Court, Michaelchurch Escley was one of the founding shareholders in the enterprise and one of five Directors appointed in the Act, which established a company for making a railway in the County of Hereford from the Great Western Railway at Pontrilas to Dorstone.
