The Group is indebted to Mr John Harnden for permission to use his otherwise unpublished transcript of the 1664 Hearth Tax Assessment.
This varies from the 1665 Assessment in that it includes both chargeable occupiers and not chargeable occupiers and hence provides a list of all occupiers in the respective parishes.
In addition, the transcript includes the 1665 data for comparison and also the 1663 Militia Assessment on owners where comparable names exist.
